KATHMANDU, Oct 3: CPN (UML) general secretary Ishwor Pokhrel has said the party would launch a nation-wide campaign to mount pressure on the government to execute decisions made by the party-led erstwhile government.
The leader of the main opposition said party's priorities had not changed with its exit from the government. "The meaningful enforcement of the constitution, to boost up the nation's image, maintain country's balanced relations with the neighbours and keep the country sovereignty were and are the top priorities of the party," he said.
He was addressing a reception organised by the party here today on the occasions of the upcoming Dashain, Tihar and Chhath festivals. On the occasion, he said festivals that are celebrated in Nepal are the common heritages of the people and such property should be preserved and promoted further. RSS
