UML still ahead in KMC

KATHMANDU, May 17: As the vote counting is underway at the City Hall of the Kathmandu Metropolis, CPN-UML candidate Bidya Sundat Shakya is still leading with 1494 votes.

Likewise, following him is Nepali Congress candidate Raju Raj Joshi with 1070 votes. Similarly, Ranju Neupane of Bibeksheel Nepali is cureently in third position with 752 votes whereas Kishore Thapa of Sajha Party is in fourth in line with 561.

The vote counting of ward number 2,3 and 32 is underway. KMC with 32 wards, is the largest local level to have the highest number of voters.
