KATHMANDU, Dec 20: CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal has accused the CPN-UML of obstructing the parliament session by going against the Supreme Court (SC)’s order.

Chairman Nepal accused the UML of obstructing the parliament in defiance of the SC's decision not to use the party's whip even before Nepali Congress (NC) President Sher Bahadur Deuba became the prime minister of the country.

Speaking at a program organized in Kathmandu on Sunday, Chairman Nepal claimed that KP Sharma Oli is not in favor of the country’s betterment. He also accused the UML of challenging the constitution and not accepting the decision of the apex court.

Nepal reiterated that there was no point in obstructing the parliament. He also said that the UML has no right to obstruct the parliament by raising the issues which are sub judice.

Chairman Nepal also claimed that there was a wave of people joining the CPN (Unified Socialist), which has made the opposition party very restless.
