UML leader Nepal to attend conference in Iran

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has left for Iran to participate in the international conference of Asian political parties.

KATHMANDU, Feb 1: CPN (UML) leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has left for Iran to participate in the international conference of Asian political parties. 


He left here Wednesday for the Iranian capital, Tehran, to attend the conference.

The conference is taking place on February 2 and 3. More than 300 political parties from Asia will participate in the conference, the UML publicity department chief Bishnu Rijal said. 


According to Rijal, in the conference, leader Nepal will apprise the delegates of the participating countries about the country's political situation. He will return home on February 5.(RSS)
