KATHMANDU, August 28: The main opposition party CPN-UML has formed a 451-member Central Election Operational Committee under the coordination of party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli.
A 34-member central secretariat has been formed in the committee. Leader Bishnu Rizal said that Deputy Secretary General Bishnu Rimal has been selected as the secretary of the operational committee. He said that UML entered the election with the determination to win by forming a countrywide election operational committee.
RPP forms Central Election Operational Committee
At 11 in the morning, a meeting of the election mobilization committee was held at the party's central office in Chyasal.
In the meeting, the election to the provincial assemblies and the House of Representatives to be held on the November 20 was discussed.
