KATHMANDU, Jan 23: CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli has contracted COVID-19. A PCR test conducted on Oli who had been suffering from health problems for several days confirmed the infection.
He is currently recovering at his residence in Balkot. According to a source of Oli’s secretariat, the party is expected to issue a statement shortly. “Oli has a mild cold, cough and body aches,” the source added. As per the doctor's advice, all pre-scheduled programs of Oli have been postponed as he has to stay in isolation. Today's press conference has also been postponed.

Oli will issue a press release today to publicize the party's official stance on the Prime Minister's address to the nation.
