POKHARA, Nov 30: An ultralight aircraft which faced technical glitches during flight has made a safe landing.

A single-engine aircraft with call sign 9NALB was flying with a Chinese national Yangming  at the elevation of 8,500 ft. above the Lake City when the engine stopped working suddenly.

Bulgarian captain Selev Slove was flying the ultralight 21 kilometers away from the airport over Korchin of the Annapurna Range.

After noticing some technical glitches in the aircraft, the captain had informed the tower about it.

Yogendra Kunwar, the airport tower technician, said he gave the priority to the ultralight to land at the airport by holding the other aircraft in the sky.

The engine stopped working 18 minutes after the ultralight took off from the airport. It had taken off at 8:9 am.
