KATHMANDU, Aug 13: United Kingdom Ambassador to Nepal, Rob Fenn, paid a courtesy visit to Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Prime Minister's Office in Singha Durbar.
During the meeting, discussions were centered on the long-standing mutual relations and interests between Nepal and the United Kingdom.

Prime Minister Oli said that strengthening Nepal's federalism and democracy, the government has given priority to development, increasing youth participation in policy making and implementation of sustainable development goals.

Ambassador Fenn expressed his happiness that the issue of transitional justice law is about to be resolved on the basis of political consensus and informed PM Oli that the UK government's support in the fields of Nepal's development, good governance and strengthening of federalism will continue.
According to the Prime Minister's Private Secretariat, Ambassador Fenn also promised increased facilitation for Nepali businesses in exporting goods to the UK.
