KATHMANDU, Aug 1: United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) has presented a proposal before the taskforce to vote for CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the prime ministerial election.
UDMF, Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Centre) on Saturday had formed a nine-member taskforce to prepare a proposal to discuss on addressing the UDMF's demands and their involvement in the next government.
A separate proposal was sent today adding two more points in the five-point proposal that was submitted yesterday. The new demand set by UDMF, that has been mentioned as the sixth point in the proposal, is to reconstitute the commission on local bodies numbers and demarcation.
The seventh point states that UDMF will vote for Dahal if their demands are addressed through the taskforce.
