SAPTARI, March 7: Fresh clashes between the security force and the cadres of United Democratic Madheshi Front (UDMF) have been reported in Saptari.

The UDMF cadres have set a blaze at the office of office of Peace Committee at Rajbiraj-6. The report suggested that the first floor of the office has completely been destroyed by the fire.

Likewise, scuffle between the cadres and the police have been reported at Adalat Road. The disgruntled cadres have pelted stones and chanted slogans against the brutality of the security forces.

The police have fired three shells of teargas to control the situation. The agitating cadres of the Madhesh-based alliance are staging demonstration in the region during ongoing two-day strike called by the alliance against  the Saptari incident.
