KATHMANDU, July 8: Lawmakers of the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) have boycotted today's parliament meeting.

The lawmakers stood up from their respective seats soon after the Speaker Onsari Gharti announced the beginning of the meeting.

Immediately after the objection by the UDMF lawmakers, Speaker Gharti allocated time to lawmaker Akwal Ahamad Sah and he repeated that the major political parties and government were neglecting their demand; however, they have been protesting for nine months expressing dissatisfaction on some provision of the new constitution.

After Sah's address to the House, UDMF lawmakers went out from the parliament. RSS
