PALPA, June 2: Udayapur and Taplejung bagged wins in the ongoing ANFA Women's League Football Championship on Friday after defeating Chitwan and Sindhuli respectively on Friday. 

In the matches played in Palpa, Srijana Chemjong netted hat-trick while Reshma Khatri and Saraswati Chaudhary scored one each goal in Udayapur's 5-0 win over Chitwan. 

Likewise, Taplejung registered 8-0 win over Sindhuli with Gita Rana stroking hat-trick and Rekha Limbu scoring a brace. 

Similarly, Anita Basnet, Rekha Limbu and Anuska Sherpa added three other goals for victorious Taplejung. In the third match of the day, Sindhupalchowk and Saptari played goalless draw.  

In the matches played in Syangja, Ilam defeated Nuwakot 6-0 while Bara overcame Dhanusha 8-0. Pushpa Suruchi produced hat-trick while Susmita Tamang, Tej Kumari Gurung and Anjali Subba scored one goal each in Ilam's win over Nuwakot. 

Tara Thing alone netted five goals for Bara while Anjana Tamang found net twice. Nisha Gurung added another goal for Bara.
