KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Nepal has lost two consecutive matches in the U-19 Asia Cup in Bangladesh. In its second game, Nepal lost to Afghanistan by three wickets and ended its chances of going into the semi-final. Nepal had scored 132 runs for Afghanistan to chase. Afghanistan's U-19 team chased the run with 75 balls to spare.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz scored the highest, 26 runs for the Afghanistan and sealed the victory. Nepal were wrapped for 131 runs in 38.3 overs by Afghani bowlers. Rohit Kumar Paudel had scored 49 runs, the highest run for Nepal.

To wrap Nepal for a dismal total, Azamtullah Omarzai took highest 4 wickets while Abdul Rahman and Qais Ahmad took two wickets each.
For Nepal, Surya Tamang took four wickets while Rashid Khan, Pawan Sarraf and Sagar Dhakal took one wickets each.
India and Afghanistan have now qualified for the semi-finals from Group A.
