U-15 football team to play in Sri Lanka

KATHMANDU, March 5: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced an 18-member squad of Nepal U-15 national football team on Sunday for SFT South Asia - Japan U-16 Football Exchange Program to be held in Sri Lanka from March 10 to 14.

KATHMANDU, March 5: All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has announced an 18-member squad of Nepal U-15 national football team on Sunday for SFT South Asia - Japan U-16 Football Exchange Program to be held in Sri Lanka from March 10 to 14. The Nepali team consists of two goalkeepers, five defenders, seven midfielders and four forwards.


The four-day event organized by Japan Football Federation (JFF) will see participation of Sri Lanka U-16, Japan U-15, Bhutan U-16 teams alongside Nepal. All the four teams will play one match each in round robin format in the exchange program.  


Sunil Shrestha is the head coach of the Nepali team while Sanoj Shrestha and Nabin Maharjan are other coaches flying to Sri Lanka with the team on March 9.

Goalkeepers: Siddhanta Rana Magar, Roshan Thapa


Defenders: Sanjib Aryal, Roshan Dong, Deepak Bhandari, Padam Bhattari, Randip Paudel


Midfielders: Roshan Rana Magar, Sanju Shrestha, Saugat Khawas, Shishir Lekhi, Karlosh Bakhariya, Prithivi Chaudhary, Pukar Khadka


Forwards: Ranjan Pun, Shyrab Lo Tamang, Abhisek Shrestha, Brijesh Chaudhary
