Two trucks with 840 sacks of illegal sugar taken under control

West Nawalparasi, Oct 19: An Armed Police Force (APF) team has seized two trucks with 840 sacks of illegal sugar worth around Rs 9 million from a place located between Pratappur Rural Municipality-2 and Ramgram Municipality-5 along the Bhairahawa-Parasi road in Nawalparasi West district on Wednesday.

West Nawalparasi, Oct 19: An Armed Police Force (APF) team has seized two trucks with 840 sacks of illegal sugar worth around Rs 9 million from a place located between Pratappur Rural Municipality-2 and Ramgram Municipality-5 along the Bhairahawa-Parasi road in Nawalparasi West district on Wednesday.


The trucks with number plates 6 Kha 2197 and Lu 1 Kha 9871 and loaded with the illegal sweetener were impounded by the APF Border Outpost, Harpur, and Maheshpur Customs Office.
