The victims have been identified as 18-year-old Saurabh Damai and 15-year-old Abi Damai from Bhimdatta-12. Saurabh's body was recovered near the Dodhara-Chandani suspension bridge along the bank of the river.

However, the status of Abi remains unknown. Local residents and security personnel are actively searching for him along the riverbank, though search efforts have been hindered by the strong current caused by continuous rainfall.
