CHITWAN, August 10: Two people who have been accused of murdering one Anil Pariyar have been sent to jail for further investigation by the Chitwan District Court.
After two days of argument in the Chitwan District Court, the court today (Wednesday) sent Hemant Bastola aka Vishwa and Sunil Raut aka Rahul to jail. Defendant Bikram aka Rohit Prasad Silwal was released after submitting a bail of rs 2,000.
Rape-accused Tolangi sent to jail for investigation
Pariyar was murdered on 28th April this year at 5:30 in the evening at Krishnapur, Bharatpur. He was a General Convention representative of the Nepali Congress from Bagmati Province. After the murder which took place during the last local level election, various organizations sympathysing with the Nepali Congress had even organized a halt-the-wheels protest in Chitwan, demanding an investigation into the murder.
