SANKHUWASABHA, Sept 18: Two people died in a tractor accident in Makalu Rural Municipality-3, Samatar, of Sankhuwasabha district on Wednesday.
Both the occupants of the tractor died on the spot when the tractor fell off the road while coming from Barun to Khandbari on the Kimathangka Road section of Khandbari.

Ramkumar Lamichhane, police inspector of the district police office, informed Republica that the deceased were driver Kiran Shrestha and co-driver Udit Shrestha of Khandbari Municipality-8, Bishnedhara.
The tractor fell into the Arun River about 300 meters below the cliff. Police said that the number plate of the tractor that was swept away by the river could not be revealed.
