KAVRE, Sept 2: In Kavre, two people who were seriously injured in separate accidents on Sunday died during treatment.
The District Police Office Dhulikhel reported that a worker injured by an electric shock and an elderly person seriously injured in a motorcycle accident have both died.

In Panauti Municipality-6, while casting concrete at the under-construction Nepal Police Academy building, Sabin Chaudhary, 20, from Agnisair Krishnasavaran Municipality-1 in Saptari was electrocuted. The police reported that Chaudhary, who was seriously injured by the electric shock, died during treatment at Dhulikhel Hospital.
Similarly, on Sunday evening, Kaji Bahadur Gurung, 63, was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Dhalmale, Panauti Municipality-5, on the Banepa-Panauti road section. He later succumbed to his injuries.
The motorcycle Pra 3-02-013 Pa 0751, traveling from Banepa to Panauti, hit Gurung, causing injuries to his head and left leg. He was taken to Norvic Hospital in Kathmandu for treatment, where he unfortunately passed away last night.
In the incident, the motorcycle rider, Saurabh Shrestha, 17, from Banepa Municipality-7, and the passenger, Riyan Pradhan, 16 from the same ward, sustained minor injuries. The police have stated that investigations into both incidents are ongoing.
