NAWALPARASI, Sept 29: Two people died while 32 others were injured when a passenger bus collided with a truck at Kawasoti-16, Nawalparasi early this morning. 

The accident took place at around 3:30 am when the passenger bus (Na. 7 Kha. 5629) heading to Kathmandu from Nepalgunj hit a truck (Na. 6 Kha. 7719) coming from the opposite direction, District Police Office, Nawalparasi east said. 

The deceased have been identified as the bus driver Suraj BK,23, of Kohalpur municipality-4, Banke and 24-year-old Laxman Tharu of Kapilvastu. Of the injured, the condition of 11 is reported to be critical. They are undergoing treatment in Bharatpur while others have been admitted to hospitals in Kawasoti, police said.  RSS
