ITAHARI, April 30: Two persons were killed in a road mishap at Sundarharaicha-7 in Morang district this morning.
The deceased have been identified as Uma Niraula, 51, and Shyam Karki, 52, of Bhadrapur-15, in Jhapa district. They died on the way to Biratnagar for treatment.
The accident took place when a microbus (Ba 4 Kha 6919) en route to Kathmandu from Jhapa collided with a tree at the roadside after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The injured have been sent to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, Itahari-based Community Hospital and Biratnagar-based Golden Hospital for treatment, according to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Itahari. Of the injured, condition of some persons is said to be critical.
The bodies have been kept at Golden Hospital. RSS
