CHITWAN, Sept 1: At least two people were injured when an Indian bus with registration number R 01 I 6372 and a truck (registration number Ga 2 Kha 1108) collided with each other on the Mugling–Narayanghat road section in Chitwan's Simaltal this morning. The injured include the truck driver and his assistant. Their condition is reported to be stable.


The District Administration Office, Chitwan, informed that no one on the bus was injured.

Currently, the bus driver is on the run. Meanwhile, the passengers on the bus have been left stranded after the driver fled the scene.


The traffic on the highway has fully resumed.
