DANG, Feb 16: Two people were injured when a cooking gas cylinder exploded in Dang.

They were injured when a gas cylinder exploded while cooking this morning in Tulsipur Sub-metropolitan City-16.

According to the District Police Office, Dang, the explosion occurred while cooking at an agricultural production company in Lalaura.

Kusum KC, 50, of Tulsipur-16, Lalaura and Ashish Khanal, 29, of Bharatpur Metropolitan Municipality-5, Chitwan were injured as a result of the explosion.

KC received burn injury below his waist when a gas cylinder exploded. He has been taken to Nepalgunj for treatment. 

Similarly, another injured Khanal has received burn injury in his hands. Police said that he has been taken to Chitwan for treatment.
