Two injured in explosion in Nagdhunga; seven arrested from Koteswore

KATHMANDU, May 26: Two people have been injured in an explosion while transferring IED in a motorcycle in Nagdhunga.

According to DSP Hobindra Bogati, spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range, the two were riding in the two-wheelers when the explosion took place at around 8 pm Sunday evening. The injured have been rushed to Shahid Memorial Hospital.

Seven arrested from Koteswar 

Meanwhile,  a special team of Armed Police Force has taken seven people into custody from Koteswore in connection with the explosions of Sunday afternoon.  According to the police, the accused took a cylinder bomb to Ghattekulo and ran away immediately after the explosion.

Police have recovered the pressure cooker bomb from the room. Police have arrested Buddhi Lal Pun, Buddhi  Sunuwar, Tej Raj Kafle and Tej Bahadur Moktan among others.
