ROLPA, Jan 29: A joint team of police deployed from the District Police Office (DPO), Rolpa and Regional Police Bureau (RPO) of Province 5 held two individuals from Madi Rural Municipality in possession of 50-kg of hashish on Sunday morning. 

Acting on a tip-off, police confiscated the hashish and two locals at around 3 am. The arrestees have been identified as Prashna Budha Magar, 22, and Sher Bahadur Budha Magar of Thawang-3, Rolpa. According to police, both of them were carrying the drugs to sell in the market. Pushparaj Malla, the spokesperson of RPO, informed that police are investigating whether the arrested are drug users or dealers.
