KATHMANDU, July 10: A government monitoring committee today sealed two drug stores at Chhetrapati in the capital for not cooperating with a team that was there for inspection.
The sealed drug stores are Bajhgain Medical Suppliers and Ikhapukhu Distributors. The inspection team has directed the store operators to be present within 24 hours in the respective authority, said Shree Prasad Adhikari, official at the monitoring team.
The monitoring team has found that most of the drugstores in the area were running without renewing. They were also found with medicines that had their consumption date expired.
Government authorities as of late have intensified the monitoring activities in the market. RSS
