The injured are receiving treatment at Trauma Center in Kathmandu
Dhading, Feb 1: Two persons died while two others sustained injuries when a truck en route to Kathmandu from Mugling hit a truck parked on the roadside at Thakre Rural Municipality-2 along the Prithivi Highway in Dhading on Monday morning.
According to police, a truck with registration number Lu 2 Kha 270 collided with another truck (Na 6 Kha 6465) parked on the roadside at Koirale at around 3:30AM today.
The deceased have been identified as Kiran Karki, assistant to the driver, and Kiran Pratap Gurung, a resident of Sanosuki Rural Municipaltity-9 in Bardiya district, confirmed Inspector Bhoj Raj Pandey of Area Police Office, Gajuri.
Likewise, those injured in the accident have been identified as Lilaram Adhikari, a resident of Sunwal Municipality-6 in Nawalparasi, and Kamal Shah, a resident of Karaiya Rural Municipality in Bara district.
Both the injured have already been sent to the Kathmandu-based Trauma Center for treatment.
