SAPTARI, Oct 10: Two persons died and two others were injured in a road mishap at Bisanpur chowk of Khadka municipality-8 of Saptari district today.

The deceased have been identified as Arbinda Chaudhary, 27, of Surunga municipality-1 of Saptari and Anabarul Ansari, 28, of Khadka municipality-6, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tilak Bharati. The accident took place when a motorcycle (Ba 68 Pa 6887) heading towards west from east and another motorcycle (Ja 6 Pa 5853) coming from opposite direction collided with each other.

Chaudhary and Ansari died while undergoing treatment at Rau Memorial Hospital, Lahan. Similarly, injured Debanand Chaudhary, 18, of Surunga municipality-1 and Mohammad Kisudhin, 40, of Kadka municipality-6 have been sent at Biratnagar-based Golden Hospital for treatment, according to the District Police Office, Saptari. The Area Police Office, Kalyanpur, has impounded both motorcycles.
