MORANG, Feb 28: Two people died in a motorcycle accident in Nimuwa located in Budhiganga Rural Municipality-4 of Morang under the Koshi Highway.
According to the District Traffic Police Office, Morang, the motorcyclist, 19-year-old Nishan Chaudhary of Saptakoshi Rural Municipality-1 of Saptari and the pillion rider, 16-year-old Chaudhary of Ramdhuni Municipality-9 of Sunsari, died in the accident.
Teenager dies in motorcycle accident
On Monday, the accident occurred when the motorcycle (BA 63 PA 727), which was traveling from south to north, went out of control and hit an electric pole, according to the Morang traffic police Chief Inspector Rajkumar Karki. He said that both the injured breathed their last at Birat Teaching Hospital during treatment. The police said that further investigation into the incident is underway.
