Two dead in Trishuli truck plunge

CHITWAN, Sept 6: Two people died and two others were injured when a truck coming to Muglin from Kathmandu veered off the road and fell into the Trishuli River early this morning at Darechowk along the east-west highway in Chitwan. 

Both dead are males (one of nearly 28 years of age and second 35 years of age). Their identities are yet to be ascertained. The truck (Na 3 Kha 9903) fell into the river at around 3:45 am, killing two and injuring others two, the District Police Office Chitwan said. 

Injured Rambali Prasad, 20, and Bhuwan Dev Saha, 25, from Bara are receiving treatment at the College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur, police said. RSS
