Two COVID-19 patients die in Biratnagar

MORANG, April 28: Two people from Jhapa and Morang, who were infected with the COVID-19, died on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment in Biratnagar.

According to Nobel Teaching Hospital, patients from Katahari Rural Municipality of Morang and Jhapa Rural Municipality of Jhapa died on Wednesday morning while undergoing treatment for the coronavirus. 

A 45-year-old man of Katahari Rural Municipality-2 died at 3:45 AM while undergoing treatment, according to the hospital. After COVID-19 was confirmed, he was admitted to the hospital on April 25 for treatment. The deceased had chronic pneumonia, said Narayan Dahal, manager of the hospital.

Similarly, a 55-year-old man of Jhapa Rural Municipality-10 died at around 1:00 in the morning while undergoing treatment, according to the hospital. He was admitted to the hospital on April 26 after the infection was confirmed. Manager Dahal said that the deceased had a chronic problem of diabetes.
