TAPLEJUNG, Oct 31: Police have arrested two individuals on the charge of rape in Taplejung on Saturday.
Two girls, 14 and 18 years old, from Sidingwa Rural Municipality-4 were raped by their own relatives during the Dashain festival.

The arrestees have been identified as Aindrahang Limbu Aka Sete, 18, of Sidingwa Rural Municipality-4 and Balkrishna Limbu, 25, of Athari Tribeni Rural Municipality-2, according to the District Police Office (DPO), Taplejung.
“Both have been arrested on the charge of rape and further investigation into the case is underway,” said Mahendra Kumar Shrestha, Deputy Superintendent of Police at DPO, Taplejung.
