UDAYAPUR, April 5: Police have arrested two people allegedly for the murder of a student in Udayapur.
Two people, including a teenager, were arrested on the suspicion of killing 16-year-old Kavita Sunuwar, who was found dead in Dangtol of Belka Municipality-3 on Tuesday morning.
The arrested have been identified as Binod Dhakal, 19, of Byung, Indian state of Sikkim, who has been living in a house of Jit Bahadur Dhakal (Khatri) at Belka-3 and Sarita Dhakal, 17, daughter of Jit Bahadur Dhakal (Khatri).
According to the District Police Office, Udayapur, a team commanded by an inspector of the Area Police Office, Rampur Thoksila, arrested them and started an investigation.
The team has sent the body to BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences, Dharan for a postmortem after completing the legal process.
