KATHMANDU, May 3: Turkish actor Engin Altan Düzyatan arrived in Nepal on Monday for a four day visit to promote tourism of the country.
The actor has arrived in the country on an invitation from Nepal government to promote the country’s reviving tourism sector after the COVID-19 pandemic. Engin was received by Raja Ram Giri of the Tourism Revival Committee at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday.
Similarly, the Turkish actor flew to Pokhara today itself and is scheduled to visit Thamel and attend a reception in the evening hosted by Nepal’s Minister of Tourism and Civil Aviation Prem Ale on Thursday. On Friday, Engin is scheduled to fly to the base of Mt Everest for sightseeing.
The actor has starred in the Netflix hit series Barbaros: Sword of the Mediterranean as well as other Turkish blockbuster series.
