KATHMANDU, Jan 21: As the risk of the third wave of COVID-19 infection is increasing, Tribhuvan University decided to postpone all the examinations from January 23. However, the examinations of the Faculty of Science scheduled for today (Friday) and the Faculty of Management on Saturday will continue as planned.
Examinations of Tribhuvan University started from Tuesday. However, after the students' protest, the University Examination Control Office, Balkhu, decided to hold a meeting on Thursday and postpone all the examinations from January 23, said Deputy Controller Ghanshyam Thakur. But the exams on January 21 and 22 will remain the same and be carried out.
“All the exams of the science faculty will be held on January 21. The BBA and B.Sc. entrance exams of the management faculty will also be held on January 22,” said Deputy Controller Thakur. “The examinations committee has decided to postpone other examinations scheduled to be held from January 23.” The examination of management faculty will be held in the physical presence of about 20,000 students.
