KATHMANDU, Jan 30: The elections of Tribhuvan University Employees Association (TUEA) Central Committee is set to be held on February 16.


There will be 67 polling stations including Tribhuvan University-affiliated campuses, research center and Office of the Controller of Examination, Balkhu.

As many as 5,467 employees will vote in the election, said the Committee.


Issuing a statement on Sunday, the Committee said that from office assistants to section officers at the TU offices can vote in the election.


A chairman, a senior vice president, five vice presidents, a secretary, a treasurer and 11 central members will be elected to the 21-member executive committee.


According to the TUEA Central Committee election Chief Kedar Dhakal, all the technical and administrative works for the election has been completed.
