TU campuses to resume physical classes suspended after COVID-19 outbreak

KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Following the decision made by the TU Executive Council, all the educational institutions affiliated to the Tribhuwan University are all set to resume their physical classes. 


The TU-affiliated campus, departments and schools, which suspended their regular classes in the wake of the coronavirus disease in the last week of March, can now operate the physical classes as decided by the meeting of the TU Executive Council.

According to the notice published by the TU Registrar’s Office, the educational institutions are required to follow health safety protocols issued by their respective local level governments. “Realizing the urgency of resumption of regular classes, the campuses are asked to operate the physical classes if possible,” reads the notice. 



The TU has also asked the campuses to make necessary arrangements for the alternative ways of conducting classes if it is not feasible to conduct regular classes due to COVID-19 pandemic.
