Truck claims one

NUWAKOT, Aug 27: A man was killed when he was hit by a waste carrying truck at Kakani rural municipality-1, Okharpauwa on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Padam Bahadur Balami, 45, of the district.

Balami died on the spot when the truck, Ba 2 Kha 6118, en route to Sisdole from Kathmandu hit him informed Basanta Kunwar, chief, District Police Office, Nuwakot.

Locals have come up to the incident site, informed Police.
