Teej is all about reunion with sisters and relatives to share the bittersweet experiences of life. Then, rejoicing and enjoying togetherness — dancing, singing and feasting. Moreover, every year, married Hindu women fast and wish for a prosperous life of their spouses, while unmarried women fast in a hope to get a good husband and they worship Lord Shiva. This festival falls on the third dark day of the lunar month according to Nepali month Bhadra. This year, the festival is being celebrated on Thursday.
When there is celebration, how can women avoid preparing themselves to look their best. Here, My City Team visited a few stores to showcase what's in trend, their prices and more for this Teej.
