Tree falls on moving microbus in Dhading, seven injured

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Seven passengers were injured when a tree fell on a moving microbus in Dhadhing.

KATHMANDU, Aug 5: Seven passengers were injured when a tree fell on a moving microbus in Dhadhing. 


An electric microbus (Bagmati Province 01-006 Kha 6512) traveling from Dhadingbesi to Kathmandu was trapped in a landslide near Jarekhola in Gajuri-5. Along with the landslide, a tree fell and landed on the roof of the microbus.

The injured have been taken to Gajuri Hospital for treatment.


According to the District Police Office Dhading, seven passengers of the microbus were gravely injured. Their identities have not been revealed yet. 


Efforts are underway to clear the landslide debris and the remains of the tree that fell on the vehicle.
