Likewise, the general secretary of Nepal Transport Entrepreneurs Association Saroj Sitaula also urged the government to set up health desks at Kalanki, Gonggabu Buspark, Lagankhel, and other bus parks which witness huge public crowd every day.

“Amidst the shortage of protective masks and sanitizers in the market, the government must be responsible for the health security of the staffers affiliated to public vehicles,” he added.

The number of public vehicles plying the roads are declining owing to the coronavirus fear.

There should be a provision of information dissemination about COVID-19  in public vehicles, the transport enrepreneurs said.
