Transport Minister pledges to remove legal hurdles in operation of locally manufactured vehicles

KATHMANDU, April 27: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, has pledged to take prompt initiations to remove legal hurdles in the operation of vehicles manufactured within the country.

KATHMANDU, April 27: Minister for Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Prakash Jwala, has pledged to take prompt initiations to remove legal hurdles in the operation of vehicles manufactured within the country.


The Minister today instructed employees of subordinate bodies and bodies concerned for procedural revisions to sort out legal complexities in regard with operation of home-manufactured vehicles.  As he said, the issue will be sorted out within a couple of days and the government is committed to promoting locally produced vehicles.

It may be noted that motor vehicles manufactured within the country have been facing legal hurdles for the registration and operation for long.
