KATHMANDU, Sep 4: In an incident at Bir Hospital, a man, approximately 40 years old, tragically lost his life by jumping off the sixth floor of the surgical building. The hospital's Information Officer Sagar Mishra provided details of the unfortunate event.
The incident occurred during the early hours of the morning, around 2 to 3 AM. The man entered the hospital premises, claiming to be a relative of a patient. He then proceeded to the upper floors of the hospital and ultimately jumped from the sixth floor.

Hospital staff and administration conducted a thorough check to ascertain the individual's identity and connections within the hospital. However, their investigation revealed that none of the patients in the hospital were associated with him, indicating that he was an outsider.
Mishra expressed that no one has come forward to claim the body. The body currently remains unclaimed.
