KATHMANDU, March 24: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, Prem Bahadur Ale is leaving for neighboring India today to take part in the 'Wings India, 2022', Asia's largest civil aviation event organized jointly by the Ministry of Civil Aviation of India and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry.


Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi is scheduled to inaugurate the event that is taking place on Friday in Hyderabad. The ministers for culture, tourism and civil aviation of various countries will take part in the event.

On the occasion, Minister Ale is scheduled to put forth his views on the civil aviation sector of Nepal and exchange experiences about the sector with other participants, said Hamsha Raj Pandeya of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal, who is also a part of the Nepali team visiting India. During his one-day official visit, Minister Ale is also scheduled to make efforts to encourage as many Indian tourists as possible to visit Nepal, urge the Indian government for necessary assistance and open air routes at airports near Nepal-India border points.
