KATHMANDU, Sept 17: Toastmasters Nepal successfully hosted Citation 2024 at Aloft Kathmandu, with over 300 members from 60+ clubs across Nepal. Themed "Together for 100," the event marked Toastmasters International's 100th anniversary and highlighted Nepal's goal to expand to 100 clubs by 2026.
Keynote speaker Atul Satya Koushik received a standing ovation for his address on leadership and communication. The Communicator Award 2024 was presented to media personality Bhusan Dahal for his exceptional communication skills.
One arrested for illegally transporting timber
According to a press statement, the award is annually given to a non-Toastmaster who has significantly contributed to effective communication.
The event featured a Humorous Speech Showcase, stand-up comedy, and team-building activities.
