POKHARA, August 30: The ninth edition of Miss Pokhara 2017 is set to be held on on September 21, the day of Ghatasthapana.
According to Santosh Shahi, organizer of the contest, audition for the contest was held in two phases. As many as 17 contestants have been selected through the auditions for the final competition. The title winner will get Yamaha’s Fascino Scooter and Rs 50,000 cash among other exquisite prizes.

Similarly, the first runner-up will receive Rs 30,000 cash and second runner-up will get Rs 20,000 among other prizes.
Shiva Koirala, president of Pokhara Jaycees, said Miss Pokhara contest holds a prestigious spot in the fashion industry and the title winner will get a chance to directly enter the training phase of Miss Nepal contest.
