KATHMANDU, Sept 13:   TikTok is actively recruiting a Policy Manager to handle its regulatory and governmental affairs in Nepal, aiming to address the ongoing ban imposed by the Nepal government nearly 10 months ago.


Listed on TikTok's official website, the platform is hiring a Policy Manager to manage its operations in Nepal. This move follows a 10-month government ban on TikTok in the country. By appointing a high-level manager, TikTok aims to rebuild its relationship with Nepali authorities and improve content monitoring.

The Policy Manager, based in Dubai, will oversee key tasks such as engaging with policymakers, analyzing legislation, and maintaining government relations. Candidates must have strong public policy experience, fluency in Nepali and English, and the ability to handle complex policy issues.
