KATHMANDU, April 23: Air services at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have been disrupted due to a problem in communication equipment.
Due to this, internal and external flights have been affected, airport sources said. Due to problems in the area approach center and the control approach center that establishes contact with the airplanes, the takeoff and landing have been put on a halt.

It is said that some of the airplanes that flew from mofussil to Kathmandu had to be sent back to the airports they had taken off from.
