KATHMANDU, April 19: There will be no takeoffs and landings at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in Kathmandu from 1 AM to 7 AM on Thursday.
General Manager of TIA, Pratap Babu Tiwari, informed Republica that domestic and international flights will be closed at the airport during this period.

According to him, during the strengthening of the airport’s power supply system, the work of connecting the online UPS is going on, so the flights will be disrupted.
On behalf of the airport, he has also requested the passengers to contact their air service company and make arrangements for the flight at that time.
