Three suspected coronavirus patients admitted to Patan hospital, report awaited

KATHMANDU, April 13: Three suspected coronavirus patients have been admitted to Lagankhel-based Patan hospital on Monday.

KATHMANDU, April 13: Three suspected coronavirus patients have been admitted to Lagankhel-based Patan hospital on Monday.


Director of Patan hospital Bishnu Prasad Sharma told Republica Online that the three persons from the same family who returned from the United Kingdom 28 days ago are kept in isolation.

During the Rapid Diagnostic Test (RDT), the patients tested positive for novel coronavirus, according to Sharma. "Their throat swab and blood samples have been sent to National Public Health Laboratory, Teku for the confirmation," he said.


The suspected patients (couple and their daughter) were staying at an apartment in Pepsicola after returning from the UK.
